Water is LIFE, and if we are in the life-changing business we need to provide that which sustains life!

Due to the lack of water sanitation in Haiti, BEM takes action along with the spread of the Gospel by providing clean drinkable water to the villages we serve. According to the latest statistics, 85% of illnesses that occur in Haiti is a direct result from drinking unclean water. BEM has made this well digging project one of its main goals.
In every area BEM has planted a church, we aim to provide a well to these communities.

We are currently working in partnership with a well-digging company based in Haiti who provide the materials needed and the manpower to build a well from start to finish. The cost for each well is $4,500.00 which includes digging, drilling, pipe installation, masonry work and pump installation.

In our desire for good stewardship of what God provides BEM, our goal is to purchase a truck and drilling equipment and turn this financially supported ministry into mission trips where those who serve will perform the work of digging the well, drilling, pipe installation, masonry work and pump installation. By doing so, we can effectively install 2 wells in 2 locations for what we currently are paying for one! In addition, wells can also be dug by local personnel throughout the year which will provide much needed employment and a sense of pride and dignity.

Currently, Jazzed4Life matches donations dollar for dollar for this specific project. For each dollar you donate, Jazzed4life will match that donation. BEM is extremely grateful for the support of Jazzed4Life and the Brubeck family.

How can YOU be involved...

Anyone with a desire to provide clean drinking water to those less fortunate and is able to physically help dig a well is right for this trip. No specific qualifications are needed to get involved! Only a servant's heart is required.

We also have specific needs:

• People who have expertise in well digging and drilling are needed.
• Masonry professionals willing to work and to teach the trade.
• Fundraising efforts. Currently, Jazzed4Life matches donations dollar for dollar for this specific project. If you are in a position to help in this way, provide funds in other ways, or simply donate - we need YOU!
• Truck and well digging equipment is needed. Any leads or ideas are welcome.
